What every quote covers
- Identification of the material, with laboratory sampling where needed
- A written method and price for the entire job
- Removal, wrapping and sealing of the waste
- Transport to a permitted disposal site
- A waste consignment note for your records
- The area left clean before we leave
What changes the price
These are the things that move one quote above another. We explain which apply to you when we visit.
- Type of material — Cement sheet is cheaper to remove than insulating board or lagging, which are usually licensed work.
- Quantity and access — Roof or wall area, height, and whether scaffold, a lift or a crane is needed for the job.
- Waste volume — Heavy sheets and bulky waste cost more to carry and dispose of.
- Replacement work — A new roof, ceiling, floor or cladding is a separate job. We can quote the removal alone so your own trades can follow on.
How pricing works for each type of customer
We do the same careful work for everyone. What differs is the scale, the access and the paperwork.
- Domestic — Garage and shed roofs, Artex ceilings, floor tiles, soffits and pipe lagging in houses and flats. Usually a single visit and one fixed price.
- Commercial — Shops, offices and blocks of flats. We work to your survey or asbestos register and programme the work around trading hours.
- Industrial — Factory and warehouse roofs, cladding and plant insulation. Priced by area and access, with the waste volume planned in advance.
- Agricultural — Large cement roofs and wall cladding on barns and farm buildings. Quoted after a roof survey, with sealed loads for the waste.
- Schools and public buildings — Work scoped to your asbestos management plan and agreed with your site team, usually outside term time or opening hours.
The price in your written quote is the price. If something unexpected is found, we stop and talk to you first.
